The Society is not government funded and our operating costs are high. However, there are many things which you can do to help the Society and the animals. We welcome people to attend our events, such as the annual dog walk, which are an enjoyable way to raise funds for the Society. Financial donations enable the Society to build new pens, maintain the ambulances and support the Society to rescue, shelter and rehouse lost or unwanted animals. We ask you consider us when arranging your will &/or become a member of the Society. Donations of food and blankets are always welcome. Donations to the opportunity shop of good unwanted items are also appreciated. GAWS is now a deductible gift recipient which means any donation over $2.00 is tax deductible. Your help is invaluable. |

The Geelong Animal Welfare Society is a membership organisation and new members are welcome.
A nomination form can be downloaded here, collected from the Society or you can request one via post by calling 5248 2091 during office hours.
